Two men surrendered themselves last night and have been arrested and charged with First Degree Attempted Murder. Chad Kaipo Naehu, 32, from Kaunakakai, Molokai, and Travis Torres, a 26 year old man from Hoolehua, Molokai; were arrested last night at about 10:15 p.m.

Both suspects were arrested for Attempted Murder in the First Degree following the shooting that occurred earlier in the day Wednesday. See that original report here.

Both males turned themselves into Molokai Police Station.

Naehu and Torres are currently in custody at the Molokai Police Station pending the filing of formal charges. Both victims involved in this case were flown to the Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu where they are being treated for gunshot wounds. One person remains in critical condition and the other in guarded condition.
