The National Weather Service has continued the HIGH SURF ADVISORY for EAST FACING SHORES of MAUI and MOLOKAI, in effect until 6:00 a.m. Thursday.
A High Surf Advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in the advisory area, pro-ducing rip currents and localized beach erosion.
EFFECTS: Strong trade winds will continue to bring rough and elevated surf to east facing shores through tonight. Expect surf of 6 to 8 feet along east facing shores.
Forecast surf heights are estimates of the height of the face or front of waves.
