Missing Person Spotted in Pa’ia

Maui Police have released more details in a missing person case. Gerald Matthew Pritchard. He was reported missing on April 8 by his family who last saw him sometime in April, 2014 in Walnutport, Pennsylvania.

In a new pressw release today, MPD says that on Monday this week, at about 8 a.m., Pritchard was seen in the Paia area. He was wearing a fluorescent orange t-shirt and holding a tan backpack (unknown brand). Pritchard also has been seen in the Kihei area near Welakahao Street near the Kihei Baptist Church.

Pritchard appeared to be in good health according to witnesses, however, he has failed to contact police. If anyone has any information about the location of Pritchard, contact Detective Nelson Hamilton at 244-6421 or dispatch at 244-6400.

Pritchard is most likely going by the name Matt. He is described as being about 6′ tall, 180 lbs, blue eyes and light blond hair. Pritchard is 25 years old.
