On Monday, April 6, and Tuesday, April 7, between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., the Maui County Department of Water Supply will be replacing a water valve at the intersection of Makena Road and Honoiki Street in Wailea.
Replacement of the valve will require that the water be turned off in the area. Water supply will be interrupted for customers located on Makena Road between Uweloa Place and the end of Makena Road, adjacent to – but not including – Makena Beach and Golf Resort (formerly the Maui Prince Hotel). The Department is asking all motorists in the area to drive with caution as roadwork continues.
Residents and businesses in the area are also urged to set aside water needed for the duration of the water outage period.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause. Please call the 24-hour service line at 270-7633 if a water-related problem occurs or if there are any questions.
