Equipment issues have delayed the release of the January 23, 2015 edition of Maui TV News in Hi Def video online and in HD on digital channel 953, News on Demand, statewide on Oceanic Time Warner Cable.

CLEANUP ON AISLE 50 – We will have amazing video and still images from this epic past week at JAWS. That is – as soon as our eq1uipment decides to play nice. Click to enlarge. (Photo Courtesy John Patao)
We apologize for the delay – as frustrating to us as to many of you. A piece of equipment must be replaced that will not be available until Monday.
When the show does make it, you won’t want to miss incredible “cleanup” scenes from last week’s monster swell at Jaws. This week we also outline Hawaiian Electric Company’s proposal to allow twice as many home PV systems…but at a steep price. And we have the insights of PV pioneer Jim Whitcomb, founder of Haleakala Solar.
Other stories we’re covering include a proposal to bring gambling to the airport (insert your “flying is a gamble” punchline here), just where and when South Kihei Road will be closed this week, and House Speaker Joe Souki’s urging to make it legal to procure marijuana for qualified medical marijuana users.
There’s more, plus Sports, Curtain Call with Paul Janes-Brown and Coming Attractions.
That is…there will be “more” as soon as our equipment issues are resolved.
