The National Weather Service has cancelled the Flood Advisory for the Island of Moloka’i.
EFFECTS: Weather radar and rain gages show that the heavy rains have ended, thus the Flood Advisory is cancelled. Downpours earlier today in Halawa Valley prompted the initial advisory.
The Flash Flood Watch for all of Maui County remains in effect from 6 p.m. today through 6 p.m., Wednesday.
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES: THE PUBLIC SHOULD REMAIN CAUTIOUS AND ALERT FOR ANY POSSIBLE FLOODING CONDITIONS. DON’T TRY TO CROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS OR FAST FLOWING STREAMS IN YOUR VEHICLE OR ON FOOT. IT MAY BE TOO DANGEROUS. TURN AROUND…DON’T DROWN.
