The Department of Water Supply recently received reports from South Maui residents of murky water with the possibility of particulate matter in the water. The Department deployed crews to the area to obtain water samples, and all results show that the water is safe to drink. The samples did show that air bubbles may be contained in the water. No other particulate matter was identified.
If your water is murky, you may want to let your water sit for a while to allow the air bubbles to dissipate.
