As Maui County prepares for what could be some seriously severe weather, county and civil defense officials have devised a transportation schedule for people to get to the shelters. Shelters in Maui County are listed here. For residents and visitors needing transportation to the nearest shelter, refer to this schedule. The schedule can also be printed to keep with you in the event of a power outage.
MEO will be handling Hana, Molokai and Lanai with their MEO buses. There is not a set schedule and pick-up points for these rural areas. MEO will take calls from individual at the listed phone numbers and contacts.
Roberts Hawaii will be handling Central Maui, West Maui, South Maui and Upcountry Maui with Roberts School Buses.
All of the buses will have a sign to identify that it is a shuttle to the shelter.
