WAILUKU – The County of Maui Department of Finance, Real Property Assessment (RPA) Division today announced that real property owners now have the option to receive a paperless version of the upcoming 2014 real property assessment notice. The deadline to register to receive the upcoming notice electronically is Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014.
To go paperless, property owners may visit the website listed on last year’s assessment notice card and enter the code that appears on the card. After registration is completed, assessment notices will be sent via email.
“This new option offers RPA customers the opportunity to view the assessment notice on their computer, phone or mobile device,” said RPA Administrator Scott Teruya. “The paperless notices offer the convenience of email notifications while saving the County money on paper and printing costs.”
