That house on Maui’s north shore that caught fire two times in four days is still the topic of investigation and observation – not to mention speculation.
Damages to the structure fire at 590 Kailana place in Pakakaulo on Monday January 6th have been estimated at $120,000 to the structure and $20,000 to the contents.
The first first erupted Friday, driving all six of the home’s occupants out. The classification of this fire remains undetermined at this time. On current findings this fire appears most probable “accidental in nature”, according to police and fire investigators.
