Saturday afternoon  around 4 p.m., Maui Fire and Rescue Crews E-5, Air-1, and Rescue-10 were dispatched to a reported lost hiker near the top of Olinda Road.

Unit E-5 arrives on scene and is advised that the hiker has found her way back onto the trail and should be at the trailhead shortly. Fire crews awaits the arrival of the female hiker at the Waihou trailhead. Approximately three minutes later she appears walking up the trail.

She reported being disoriented for a short period of time, but found her way back on track. She did not require any medical attention. She was a local resident, unknown age.
