The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation’snew executive director, Daniel Grabauskas, said he would keep the public informed about the city’s $5.1 billion rail transit project, and will place the city’s administrative record online at www.honolulutransit.com for anyone to see.

KITV reports Grabauskas also told reporters at his first news conference Tuesday that he ordered the agency’s staff to put a stop to producing coloring books and spending money on other promotional pieces for the rail transit project that have angered some City Council members.
