WAILUKU, Maui, Hawai`i–County of Maui,Volunteer Center is offering a free Volunteer Leadership Training for Volunteer Leaders, Managers and others who work with volunteers.

“How to inspire, motivate and communicate with your volunteers in ways that cost nothing” will be presented by Alt Kagesa of Pacific Training & Facilitation.  The training offers ideas on how to leverage the power of purpose, recognize and motivate volunteers, build a sense of belonging and effectively communicate with others.  Spend a day on professional development, refresh old skills and learn new ones!  Get inspired to lead and communicate with volunteers in new and fresh ways.

Complimentary training and lunch is provided to those who qualify for the training.  You must currently be a volunteer leader and/or work with volunteers in the community.  The training is held at The Dunes of Maui Lani on May 4, 2012 from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.  Registration deadline is April 20, 2012.
