Maui Fire crews continue to battle that stubborn hau-fed brushfire off Stable Road near Kahului Airport in Spreckelsville.

As of noon today, the fire was 75 percent contained and confined to an area of about 20 acres. The cause of the fire is still undetermined.

MFD crews  from Pa’ia and Kahului remain on the scene, along with personnel from the Division of Forestry and Wildlife – conducting mop up operations.
