Yesterday afternoon, two male parties on one man canoes experienced some type of equipment failure. They texted their friend that they were in trouble. The two bailed from their equipment and decided to swim their way to shore. E-10, R-10, and Air-1 responded. Upon investigation, the two parties were found on the beach.

One male party was transported to the hospital, unknown what type of injuries he sustained. Ocean Safety personnel retrieved the abandoned equipment and brought it to shore.
