UPDATE:  As of 4:30 p.m., Moloka’i fire crews report the fire area at about 200 acres and the blaze was 60 percent contained. Air Two was en route to help with water drops. Still no report of damage or injury.

Maui Fire crews on Moloka’i are responding to the third brushfire in the past two days (no information yet on size involved) in Kaunakakai, reported at 1 p.m. today off of Hoomalu Drive. E-4, E-9, T-4, E-12, 2 Public Works tankers, and Air-1 on scene fighting this fire. More crews are en route from Lana’i to aid in battling the blaze.

No word on the cause, any damage or any injuries.
