Hawaiian Airlines has formed a partnership with New York-based JetBlue Airways that would allow passengers to fly on both airlines on one ticket.
The Associated Press reports, via USA Today, that passengers on Hawaiian will be able to connect to JetBlue flights when the airline starts flying to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport in June, and that JetBlue passengers will be able to connect to Hawaiian’s flights to Honolulu.
The AP reports that until then, passengers from Honolulu can connect through Los Angeles International Airport to JetBlue flights to New York. The AP reports that passengers will also be able to earn frequent flier miles on both airlines’ flights, starting when Hawaiian, a subsidiary of Hawaiian Holdings Inc. begins its New York service in June.
