A 4-year-old boy was flown from Molokai to Oahu after he sustained life-threatening injuries in a tractor accident, the Maui Fire Department said.

Firefighters responded at 5:11 p.m. to a property near Airport Loop in Kualapuu after the boy was run over by a tractor Wednesday. He sustained traumatic injuries to his head and arm. Maui County’s medical helicopter flew the boy to the Queen’s Medical Center for treatment.
