A traffic accident this morning briefly closed Pi’ikea Avenue in Kihei – near the traffic roundabout construction zone. Police first responded around 8:30 a.m. and the scene was cleared and reopened to traffic by 8:51 a.m.

No word on the cause of the accident, or the extent of any injuries.
