The West Maui Hospital and Medical Center was unveiled to locals in January, 2008. All the "i's" were dotted and "t's" crossed. But almost as quickly, it all disappeared. The project is back on track. Here's the story.
Aloha Honu
Five young - but mature - green sea turtles entered the great wide ocean recently, after two years of preparation at Maui Ocean Center. Maui TV News was there to say "Aloha," with some special guests - both above and below the surface of the sea.
