Maui TV News for the Week ending August 27, 2010 This Week on Maui TV News: Aloha Honu - This week a very fortunate boatload of humans witnessed the release of six precious young honu - off to start their lives in the great big sea. Courtesy of Maui Ocean Center and Pacific Whale Foundation, we'll take you there. Tighter Rules - The Maui County Council unanimously voted to require tighter restrictions on who, where and how reef animals are taken from the sea. Looking Up- Hotels, resorts and condos are filling up again - finally - after two years of dismal numbers. But the celebration is slightly tenuous because the profits are "thinner." We'll explain.
